I'm back!

Blogging is hard...

Ok not really but kind of. You have to do your makeup, hair, nails and then find a location and then ask/force someone to take pictures of you (awkward) and then blog about said pictures. It got boring quickly and I felt bad asking anyone I was with to take pictures of me so I can post it on my blog and try and get #instafamous. But...after being gone for so long I missed it. I missed telling my story about my business, outfits I love and my life in general. So thanks for still reading or reading if you are new! Here goes my second or maybe third attempt at being a #fashionblogger!

So yes, I own an online + mobile boutique with my friend & business partner Kendall. We are coming up on our second anniversary and honestly it feels like 10 years and 10 seconds all at once. We get to see all the latest fashions and trends and it is a dream job as well as being the most terrifying thing we have ever done...we own our own business at 25 and haul a 26 foot trailer...people doubt us before they even meet us! But anyways, along with seeing the latest fashions we also get to buy and keep our favorites (sometimes.) When we found this dress at MAGIC in Las Vegas (maybe I'll post about our Vegas trip because it was AMAZING) and I fell in love. This happens a lot of course, but we only keep things from our store if we know we will wear it and then in turn sell it...it is a business after all. So I HAD to keep this amazing midi dress. My husband and I recently bought patio furniture so it is my current favorite place to read a book, work from home and spend an evening (when it's not 100 degrees outside) so I knew I wanted to take pictures to show off one of my favorite parts of our house!

Yes my patio features a lovely view of a parking lot & the neighbors A/C unit but we can also see the street & sidewalk with all the people walking around our neighborhood and all the happenings. I love our little house in five points!

To Dye For

Tie dye is having a moment this summer and of course I had to jump on the trend. I really love to buy pieces that I can wear different ways and not get bored of & this is the perfect top for that! I loved wearing this tunic with white jeans but I also can't wait to try it with ripped jeans and denim shorts or as a bathing suit cover up. And maybe even with leggings in the fall! I have also been loving my gold sandals from dirty laundry. They are so comfortable and usually shoes styles like this are not comfortable to me and give me blisters, but not these! They are perfect to wear everyday but also dressy enough to wear out! I did order the wrong size at first because I was afraid they would be too tight but I exchanged them for a half size down, my true size, and they fit great!

Fancy Pink Friday

Fancy Friday is back with my first purchase from Rolling Runway! I'm a pink girl and I always have been, but I think pink looks so good on everyone during the summer. Especially bright pink! (But if you're not into pink, we also have it in black!) I wore it with my favorite SoulPepper necklace and new gold flats and it was the perfect outfit for work & then dinner. I have a feeling I'm going to be wearing this dress a lot this summer!

Silvia

Meet Silvia, mine & Kendall's (my business partner) 1963 Airstream Overlander. We are renovating her into a mobile boutique named "The Rolling Runway" to sell women's clothing all over the southeast! You can read our story here! (Can you tell I'm obsessed with clothes yet?) We started selling prom dresses in the beginning (& still are) but we are actually going to the Atlanta Mart this week to buy for the rest of summer and fall. We are thisclose to being done and have been working on her every day! We hope to be done at the end of this month (pray for us y'all!) Also, Airstreams make really good selfie mirrors and I highly recommend buying one. #liveriveted

I bought this skirt this week when I was at TJ Maxx randomly and since I have been seeing black and white stripes everywhere {aka pinterest & instagram} I had to have it! I loved wearing my rain boots with it and Silvia makes them look even brighter!
